Abstract: Loading-unloading cargo services in Tidore Kepulauan, province of Maluku Utara are carried out by Port of Sofifi. At first Port of Sofifi only designed for 1000 DWT vessels but with increasing volume of ship visits and loading-unloading sevices and also change in environmental condition of Sofifi waters which cause a lot of damage. So that, development of Sofifi port is needed to improve port operational activities so that it can serve port activities in accordance with the latest environmental condition and also the increase of loading-unloading services.
The scope of design consist of determining dock and trestle dimensions, structural modelling, structural reinforcement design, and calculation of soil capacity. The largest vessel that can docked in Sofifi is 2000 DWT. The structural design is analyzed using SAP2000 for structural modelling. For the result of layout planing, 122m in length and 11m in wide, connected by trestle with a length of 97m and a wide of 7m. Unity check ratio for the dock structure is 0,91 and the trestle structure is 0,878.
